Beauty Mark is going to Cannes!!!  Amazing news.  I couldn't be more thrilled!!!  Also the Crazy 8's Film Festival gala was exquisite this year and the film I was in called "In The Deep" looked fabulous!!!  It's been extraordinarily busy for me in the indie film world AND of course the big news;  our package safely arrived in L.A. for our new T.V. series!!!  I cannot wait to share all the exciting updates in the next few months!  I'll keep you posted as more good news develops!

                                              How it started...

I must have been around seven years old when the teacher made the announcement about the Talent Show.   I said I would play the piano.   Only trouble is I had never played a note in my life!   When I finished my “song” everyone applauded.   Great, I had fooled everyone except for one little boy who looked at me wryly and asked me who my piano teacher was.   Nevertheless I was hooked.   I loved performing and I never looked back.   In high school I won an award for playing Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker and after I graduated I performed in as many plays as I could get my hands on.   I got lead roles in most of them.   In my 20’s I decided to take this all to the next level and I auditioned for and got accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City where Robert Redford, Danny DeVito, Anne Bancroft and Kirk Douglas (to name a few) studied.   I returned to Vancouver and started my career in Film, Television, Stage and Voice Over. I continued to study with:

- Ivana Chubbuck (Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron)
- Larry Moss (Hilary Swank, Helen Hunt, Michael Clarke Duncan)
- Michael Shurtleff (Casting Director who worked with David Merrick, Bob Fosse and Andrew Lloyd Webber. He is also the author of “Audition”)
- Margie Haber (Halle Berry, Heather Locklear, Tom Arnold)
- Kate McGregor-Stewart (Nicole Kidman, Marisa Tomei, Debbie Reynolds)
- Marice Tobias (Marlon Brando)
